The RetouchArt Approach
We teach students to perform intentional, considered retouching, rather than over-retouching, and to develop an artistic understanding of lighting, tone, color, and texture, along with the technical skills required to perform precision retouching techniques. Each technique is explained in detail, demonstrated in action and supported with actual editing examples so that the student understands the thought process behind the retouching decisions made. Our objective is to support each student in producing images that are real, emotive and technically flawless.
